In February to April 2024, VessTech Group successfully completed a comprehensive ballast system  upgrade on the MV Terneskjær, a Norwegian-flagged general cargo vessel. The project was carried  out at a shipyard in Riga, Latvia, and included: 

• Ballast Water Treatment Unit Installation: Fitting a state-of-the-art system to ensure  compliance with international ballast water management regulations. 
• Ballast System Pipeline Reconstruction: Complete overhaul of existing ballast pipelines to  enhance operational efficiency and reliability. 

These upgrades have significantly improved the MV Terneskjær’s environmental compliance and  ballast handling capabilities, ensuring adherence to international maritime standards.
