In November and December 2024, VessTech Group undertook a significant repair project on the MV  Nystein, a general cargo vessel owned by Sveholmen Shipping AS, based in Sævelandsvik, Norway. The  vessel had sustained damage due to grounding and was brought to the Gdynia shipyard in Poland for  extensive repairs. 

The scope of work included structural Repairs – replacement of 12 tons of steel, encompassing a  complete rebuild of the vessel’s bulbous bow to restore its structural integrity and hydrodynamic  efficiency. 

These critical repairs were executed to ensure the MV Nystein’s seaworthiness and compliance with  maritime safety standards, enabling her to resume operations promptly.
