In January 2025, VessTech Group undertook a comprehensive overhaul of the MV Fri Porsgrunn, a  general cargo vessel managed by Kopervik Ship Management Poland . The project was conducted at  the Gdynia shipyard in Poland and encompassed several critical tasks: 

• Gantry Crane Overhaul: Complete refurbishment of the vessel’s damaged gantry crane to  restore full operational functionality. 
• Mechanical Overhaul: Extensive maintenance and servicing of the Main Engine and Auxiliary  Engines to ensure optimal performance. 
• Hatch Covers Repair and Adjustment: Repair and precise adjustment of hatch covers to  enhance cargo hold integrity and prevent water ingress. 
• Electrical Works: Comprehensive electrical system inspections and necessary repairs to  maintain safety and efficiency. 

These efforts have significantly improved the MV Fri Porsgrunn’s operational capabilities and ensured  compliance with maritime safety standards.
